Refinement of your lenses

The refinement of spectacle lenses can help in everyday life. The number of finishes depends on your individual needs and wishes.

Anti-reflective coating

Anti-reflective coating is a coating that is applied to spectacle lenses to reduce distracting reflections and improve the quality of vision. Anti-reflective technology allows more light to pass through the lenses and at the same time reduces glare and reflections.

The advantages of anti-reflective coating are manifold:

  1. Reduction of reflections: The anti-reflective coating minimises annoying reflections on the front and back of the lenses. This makes the viewing experience more pleasant, as less light is reflected and vision is clearer.
  2. Improved aesthetics: Anti-reflective lenses have a smoother surface, which makes them less noticeable. This is particularly advantageous when taking photos or in situations where you want to be seen without distracting reflections.
  3. Better contrast: By reducing reflections, corrected lenses can improve contrast vision. This can be particularly useful when driving at night or during outdoor activities in bright sunlight.
  4. Reduce eye fatigue: The anti-reflective coating can also help to reduce eye fatigue, especially when working at a computer screen for long periods or using digital devices intensively.

It is important to note that an anti-reflective coating is not only suitable for people with vision problems, but also for people without vision correction. It can be applied to almost all types of lenses, including single vision, progressive and sunglass lenses.

The beading effect of LotuTec®

Contamination doesn't stand a chance with LotuTec:

A CleanCoat coating smoothes the surface of the lenses, preventing dirt and dust from adhering so strongly and thus making spectacle care much easier.

Water also simply rolls off thanks to the favourable wetting properties, just like a lotus leaf.

Blue light filter glasses

Blue light filter lenses are special lenses that filter blue light from screens and other electronic devices. Blue light is considered harmful to the eyes and can lead to symptoms such as eye strain, dryness and sleep disorders.

Blue light filter lenses block some of the blue light to reduce eye strain. They can be available in different strengths depending on the individual needs of the user.

There are also blue light filter lenses with additional features such as anti-reflective coatings that reduce glare and UV protection that protects against harmful UV radiation.
